Escher's Fire element rises in orange and red flames. The Four Elements were four sequential New Year's cards created for the Strens' family. Each card has the color and movement of the element it embodies.
Block print in yellow and orange, printed from two blocks, with letterpress in grey. The Four Elements are the only small tessellations with multiple colors. They are an eye-catching set!
